Back Stop Stance:

Receiving a ball from the bowler and sending to 1st Post

Back Stop Reaction Drill | Back Stop

Back Stop Reaction Drill:

Set Up:

4 players - bowler, batter, back stop, and 1st post. Rounders balls, post, cones.

The Drill:

Bowler bowls the ball to the batter (batting with a cone). They attemt to tip it through to the back stop to take.

The backstop reacting to the tip off the cone sends the ball to 1st post.

Bowler bowls 6 good balls then the players rotate.

Back stop:

The position of the back stop can be close or far behind the batter. The positioning helps the batter decide where to bowl.

2’s Feeder bounces the ball onto the floor from behind the worker to come off the wall for the worker to catch
