Kashif, Coach

DESCRIPTION

Working in a circuit, players take lay-ups from alternate elbows.

After making the shot players should collect their own rebounds and then dribble to the other end to make their next shot.

Work in this way for 30 second intervals.

COACHING POINTS

Drive towards the basket and when you're ready to shoot place your weight on to your front leg (the opposite to your shooting arm - so for right-handers this will be your left leg).

Take off from this foot, pushing hard and keep both hands on the ball until the last moment.

Release the ball and aim for the top corner of the rectangle, aiming to score off the back board.
